  • Bybit announced the launch of Bybit AI, a voice assistant for trading, account management and customer support within its app.
  • At the initial stage, the assistant brings trading and other Bybit services into a single chat interface, allowing users to request actions in plain language.
  • Eligible users must activate the feature, which automatically creates an AI sub-account isolated from their main balance.

The world’s second-largest crypto exchange by trading volume, Bybit, announced the official launch of Bybit AI, a voice assistant for trading, account management and customer support. The launch matters because it gives users access to the platform’s key services through a single chat interface in the Bybit app, the company told Incrypted.

According to Bybit’s press release, users can describe a task in plain language. The assistant recognizes their intent and performs the requested action on their behalf, simplifying routine trading and account-management tasks.

Trading and support through a single interface

“Bybit AI is an important part of our roadmap for building the New Financial Platform,” said Bybit co-founder and CEO Ben Zhou.

Zhou said the company aims to make essential financial services easier to access. As the service develops, users will be able to discover and use more Bybit products and opportunities, he added.

“The idea is simple: you say what you want to do, and Bybit AI helps match you with the right products and services to get it done. It’s like having a team of financial experts right in your pocket,” Zhou said.

Instead of moving among web pages, menus and dashboards, users can ask the assistant to complete tasks in chat. Those tasks range from checking a portfolio balance and placing an order to contacting customer support, according to the statement.

Bybit said its product architecture separates the platform’s core infrastructure from individual business lines, which connect to a common interface. The company also presented a plan to unify trading, Bybit Earn, loans, the Bybit Card and customer support through an open API.

“We’re not trying to build yet another dashboard or add just another chatbot,” said Bybit Chief Technology Officer Rockman Zhang.

Zhang said the company’s goal is to help users find services and complete actions in one window through an interface that brings together relevant products.

At the initial stage, Bybit AI will comprise two core modules. The first will provide access to spot, futures and options trading, as well as Bybit Earn, copy trading, trading bots, loans, peer-to-peer services, the Bybit Card, Bybit Spot X, the Bonus Center, and notification and subscription management.

The second module will integrate customer-support features into Bybit AI while retaining the involvement of human experts. The assistant will work alongside professional support agents to help resolve user issues more quickly and efficiently, Bybit said.

Activation and account separation

Eligible users must activate Bybit AI before using it. The activation process automatically creates a separate AI sub-account.

Bybit said the system uses a security-first architecture and isolates the AI sub-account from the user’s main balance to minimize potential risks. The connection is immediate and does not require API keys or manual setup, according to the exchange.
