NEAR Protocol and Ondo have launched trading in tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs on near.com. The launch gives eligible users round-the-clock access to the assets through a single account and without a separate brokerage account.

The Ondo integration provides access to tokenized shares of major U.S. companies, including Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft and Amazon. SPY and QQQ ETFs are also available, and NEAR plans to expand the list of assets gradually.

Users can fund their balances with crypto assets from more than 30 networks, including Bitcoin, Zcash, Solana and Tron. They can then swap those assets for available tokenized stocks or ETFs directly on near.com.

Ondo’s tokenized assets provide economic exposure to the underlying securities, including changes in value and reinvested dividends, net of applicable taxes, according to the statement. The platform supports fractional tokens, allowing users to buy portions of assets.

Trading is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, while tokenized assets can be issued throughout the day. Users can hold the tokenized stock or ETF or sell it back into USDC or another asset.

NEAR emphasizes transaction privacy

NEAR said trade privacy is a key feature of the launch. Regular onchain transactions are public, allowing positions and trading volumes to be tracked through a user’s wallet address.

According to NEAR, near.com uses the protocol’s confidential execution infrastructure to hide trading activity from public view while supporting selective disclosure for regulatory requirements.

Users must meet the product’s eligibility requirements. Asset availability also depends on the user’s jurisdiction and compliance with established requirements.

Ondo assets enter the NEAR Intents ecosystem

The integration extends beyond near.com. NEAR said tokenized stocks, ETFs and other real-world assets from Ondo will become available to applications, wallets and exchanges using NEAR Intents.

Developers and decentralized-finance protocols can use NEAR Intents to integrate tokenized assets into their products. The system handles crosschain routing and settlement, while Ondo provides the infrastructure for the underlying assets.

Near.com will not charge a platform fee for tokenized-stock trades during the first 30 days after the launch.

In September 2026, the NEAR crypto asset returned to a price level last recorded almost 20 months earlier.
