- Robert Kiyosaki said on Nov. 4, 2026, that he bought more gold, silver and bitcoin during their recent price drop.
- He cited rising global debt, political leaders’ incompetence and poor financial education as major economic threats.
- Some X users questioned his position, while another said most people cannot afford to buy assets during every decline.
“Rich Dad Poor Dad” author Robert Kiyosaki said on Nov. 4, 2026, that he continued buying gold, silver and bitcoin as their prices fell. He said the purchases reflected his concerns about growing global debt, particularly U.S. government debt, as well as political leadership and shortcomings in financial education.
Kiyosaki cites debt and fiat currencies
In a post on X, Kiyosaki said people had panicked when gold, silver and bitcoin declined, but that he had bought more.
Kiyosaki criticized what he described as leaders’ failure to do what is needed and an education system that teaches people nothing about money. He also called fiat currencies “fake money” and argued that their original purpose is to strip wealth from people who work for money and hold their savings in those currencies.
He added that he could not wait for the next crash in gold, silver and bitcoin.
X users debate Kiyosaki’s position
Responses to Kiyosaki’s post offered differing assessments of his strategy. X user moatz mohamed said people were losing trust in gold and silver as their value continued to fall day by day.
Another commenter, Faheem1694, disagreed with expectations of another gold crash. The user said such a decline was unlikely in the near term because of the significant amount of liquidity in the economy.
Kristjan Beleshi 33 focused on financial inequality, saying Kiyosaki could buy assets during every decline because he had the necessary funds, while most people did not have that option.
Kiyosaki had previously said that the “biggest crash in history” began in the stock and bond markets in 2026.
