Onchain crypto exchange AlphaX said it attracted more than 250,000 newly registered users in a single quarter through its commission-free trading initiative. The increase supports the company’s plans to expand in the CIS, which AlphaX representatives told Incrypted was a key driver of audience growth.

According to the company, combining cryptocurrency and traditional financial markets on one platform was a main factor behind the increase. AlphaX applies a unified zero-fee policy to crypto spot and futures trading for both makers and takers, as well as to trading in stocks, gold, oil, indices, event contracts and other assets.

Exchange architecture and partner network

AlphaX said its Hybrid Exchange, or HEX, architecture combines the performance of a centralized exchange with onchain infrastructure. The company also said its security system uses multi-party computation, or MPC, and is designed to prevent any single party from exercising unilateral control over users’ funds.

The company’s global partner network includes more than 1,000 key opinion leaders and affiliate partners. According to AlphaX, those partners are active in Telegram communities, on financial YouTube channels and in local crypto media.

CIS expansion plans

AlphaX plans to deepen its engagement with CIS audiences through offline meetups, community events and collaborations with regional content creators.

An AlphaX representative described the CIS as an important market where traders are interested in accessing a broader range of financial instruments at lower costs. The company believes that eliminating trading fees and developing local support will help reduce barriers for users.

AlphaX also plans to expand customer service and educational materials for local users. The company said it is preparing new features, regional campaigns and a dedicated partner program for the CIS.
