Daily trading volume on decentralized exchanges operating on Robinhood Chain topped $1.55 billion on Sept. 1, 2026, according to DeFiLlama data. The activity coincided with record trading volumes across several real-world asset categories and rising use of the network’s decentralized finance protocols.
Robinhood Chain also recorded about $387 million in daily perpetual futures trading volume. The value of assets transferred into the network through cross-chain bridges, a metric known as Bridged Value, reached $2.54 billion, while total value locked in its DeFi protocols surpassed $750 million.
As Decrypt noted, the figures measure different kinds of network activity. DEX volume tracks spot trades executed through decentralized applications, while TVL measures assets deposited in DeFi protocols. Bridged Value counts assets moved into the network through cross-chain bridges, regardless of how they are subsequently used.
RWA trading reaches record levels
Daily trading volume for real-world asset tokens on Robinhood Chain reached a record $390 million on Sept. 1, according to Dune data.
Trading in “memecoin-stock” pairs generated $217 million in volume, while tokenized stocks accounted for $127 million. Both categories reached all-time highs. The total market capitalization of tokenized RWAs on Robinhood Chain surpassed $84 million.
Arkham analysts said Robinhood Chain was generating more network fees than Solana, Base and Ethereum. In their view, the increase was driven by interest in speculative trading and the emergence of new asset formats.
The analysts emphasized that memecoins, rather than the expected dominance of tokenized stocks — the use case for which the network was originally built — had become the main growth driver. Tens of thousands of memecoins were being launched each day, they said.
Tenev fuels memecoin speculation
Robinhood co-founder and CEO Vlad Tenev has fueled speculation that the trading platform could integrate memecoins. The latest discussion followed his terse response to an X post urging Robinhood to add speculative coins: Tenev replied only with an emoji.

Robinhood Chain had previously entered the top five networks by DEX trading volume in July 2026.
