NYBlue Announces Launch of ZIRC Token Backed by Precious Stones

NYBlue has recently announced the launch of its ZIRC token, which is uniquely backed by blue zircons. With a reserve of gemstones valued at $300 million, NYBlue aims to merge the stability of precious stones with the benefits of cryptocurrency. Each ZIRC token is backed by a one-carat blue zircon stone, offering the option for redemption in its natural form.

Control Over Global Blue Zircon Supplies

According to the company’s press release, NYBlue’s mission is to control the global supply chain of blue zircon. Earlier in August 2024, the company released the white paper for the ZIRC token. This followed the announcement that their gemstone reserves exceeded 1 million carats. The firm’s strategy focuses on acquiring blue zircon from Cambodia, aiming to control supply chains and influence asset pricing.

Pre-Sale Announcement and Market Positioning

NYBlue announced the pre-sale of ZIRC during the CryptoBanters’s Town Hall podcast on August 7, 2024. In a promotional video, blue zircon was highlighted as a superior alternative to diamonds, often referred to as “compressed carbon.” Mitch Brownlie, the company’s main shareholder, emphasized the potential of Cambodian blue zircon as one of the most unique and undervalued gemstones on the market.

Potential for Significant Value Appreciation

Brownlie, a former political advisor and founder of AgTech, cited the significant price increase of African Tanzanite as an example of the potential value appreciation. According to him, Tanzanite prices soared tenfold over three years. NYBlue expects a similar trajectory for blue zircon, as noted in their release.

Combining Stability and Growth Potential

Each ZIRC token is backed by a one-carat gemstone, which NYBlue believes will capitalize on the potential price growth of blue zircon while avoiding the volatility common to crypto assets. The company ensures that ZIRC token holders can exchange their tokens for actual gemstones at any time. NYBlue’s goal is not short-term profit but to achieve a dominant position in the multi-billion-dollar market.
NYBlue currently holds blue zircon reserves valued at $300 million, positioning itself as a significant player in the industry. Interested parties can participate in the pre-sale through the company’s official website.
This initiative by NYBlue represents a unique blend of traditional asset stability and the innovative potential of cryptocurrency, marking a significant step in the evolving landscape of digital and physical asset integration.
