In a remarkable week for the cryptocurrency market, investments saw a significant shift toward token sales, with the Monad project at the forefront. From November 22 to November 29, a total of 27 projects declared their investment activities. Among these, five projects chose not to disclose deal specifics. However, those that did manage to attract an impressive $495 million in total.

Token Sales Take Center Stage

The highlight of this investment wave was undoubtedly the Monad token sale. This project alone accounted for $269 million of the funds raised, showcasing an increasing interest in token-based fundraising methods. Conducted on November 23 via Coinbase’s platform, this public sale drew participation from over 85,000 investors.
Monad’s success is rooted in its strategic distribution plan wherein initially, 50.6% of MON tokens remain locked. These include allocations for team members (26.9 billion tokens), investors (19.6 billion tokens), and Monad’s treasury (3.9 billion tokens).

Venture Capital Moves

Venture capital investments also flourished during this period with significant contributions coming from firms like Figure Technology Solutions and SpaceComputer among others:
$25 million was invested in Figure Technology Solutions by Ondo Finance to bolster their YLDS stablecoin.
$10 million went into SpaceComputer’s satellite cryptographic infrastructure platform aimed at enhancing blockchain security.
– InitVerse secured an initial $10 million, potentially rising to $50 million under certain conditions led by Tabula Rasa.
Among others receiving notable funding were AiONE and RateX, each securing $7 million, while smaller but significant rounds were observed by Nexton and Votre.

Tactical Corporate Deals

On the corporate front, Japanese firm Metaplanet acquired a substantial credit facility worth $130 million aimed at further Bitcoin acquisitions. Meanwhile, Universal Digital secured debt financing worth up to $50 million post-IPO as part of their expansion plans.
Other noteworthy corporate activities included Luxxfolio’s private placement for expanding Litecoin mining operations and Abradabra Games’ equity sale raising $500k from MİA Technology.

During this bustling investment week, Amber Group stood out as one of the most active investors according to CryptoRank data analysis.
