Record-Breaking Inflows for Ethereum Spot ETFs

In a groundbreaking development for the cryptocurrency market, Ethereum spot Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) have recorded an unprecedented capital inflow of nearly $908 million within a single week. This marks the ninth consecutive week of positive growth for Ethereum-based ETFs, highlighting a burgeoning interest from investors eager to capitalize on the potential of digital assets.

Detailed Breakdown of Investments

Between July 7 and July 11, 2025, several key players in the ETF market made significant contributions to this growth. BlackRock’s ETHA led with an impressive $675.14 million investment. Fidelity’s FETH followed with $87.04 million, while Grayscale’s offerings—ETH and ETHE—attracted $73.52 million and $36.64 million respectively. Other notable contributions included Bitwise’s ETHW at $16.7 million and VanEck’s ETHV at $8.65 million.

No Movement in QETH

Interestingly, QETH was the only fund that did not experience any capital movement during this period.

Bitcoin Spot ETFs Continue to Thrive

Parallel to Ethereum’s success, Bitcoin spot ETFs have also been thriving with five consecutive weeks of investment inflows amounting to $2.72 billion according to SoSoValue data. Among these funds, IBIT dominated with a staggering inflow of $1.76 billion.

Distributions Across Major Funds

The distribution of investments among other funds is noteworthy: FBTC attracted $399.98 million; ARKB secured $339.10 million; while BTC and BITB received investments of $129.68 million and $86.57 million respectively.

Lackluster Performance in Select Funds

Contrastingly, three ETF funds—BTCW, EZBC, and DEFI—failed to acquire new funds under management during this period.

The Bigger Picture: Crypto Market Insights

Overall, the combined influx into both Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs has approached nearly $1 billion over the last week alone—a testament to growing investor confidence in digital currencies as viable financial instruments.
This surge in capital flow indicates not only heightened interest but also suggests that cryptocurrencies are increasingly being integrated into mainstream investment portfolios as reliable alternative assets.
In summary, these developments underscore a pivotal moment for cryptocurrency markets globally as they gain traction among institutional investors seeking diversified asset classes beyond traditional equities and bonds.
