Ethereum ETFs Lose $140M as ZEC Funds Attract Nearly $100M in Week

U.S. spot cryptocurrency ETFs posted sharply divergent fund flows during the five trading sessions, according to SoSoValue data. Bitcoin funds eked out a weekly inflow, Ethereum products recorded net withdrawals, and ZEC funds attracted nearly $100 million.

Ethereum ETFs lose $140 million

U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs recorded total net outflows of $140 million over the five sessions. The largest daily withdrawal came on Sept. 16, when investors pulled $224.11 million. Inflows of $143.8 million on Sept. 18 helped offset some of the earlier losses, according to SoSoValue.

BlackRock’s ETHA posted the largest fund-level outflow at $56.05 million. Grayscale’s ETHE lost $31.39 million, while Fidelity’s FETH recorded $25.83 million in withdrawals.

Other outflows included $33.08 million from ETHW, $10.31 million from ETHV, $5.43 million from QETH and $1.91 million from TETH.

Grayscale’s ETH attracted $16.23 million, ETHB took in $7.01 million and Morgan Stanley’s MSSE added $0.78 million. EZET recorded no capital movement during the period.

Bitcoin ETFs finish the week with modest inflows

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $6.21 million in net inflows over the five sessions. The funds gained $160.04 million on Sept. 14, lost $450.33 million on Sept. 15 and shed another $295.98 million on Sept. 16. They then attracted $159.45 million on Sept. 17 and $433.03 million on Sept. 18.

The Sept. 18 inflow, the week’s largest, offset a significant portion of the withdrawals from the preceding two sessions.

BlackRock’s IBIT led individual Bitcoin funds with $120.66 million in inflows, followed by Fidelity’s FBTC with $79.93 million. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT attracted $13.22 million, while Franklin Templeton’s EZBC took in $4.57 million.

ARK Invest and 21Shares’ ARKB posted the largest outflow at $141.86 million. Investors also withdrew $62.35 million from Grayscale’s GBTC, $5.28 million from VanEck’s HODL and $2.68 million from Bitwise’s BITB. BTC, BRRR, BTCO and BTCW recorded no capital flows.

The previous week, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded total net outflows of $462.73 million.

ZEC ETFs attract $98.21 million

Among funds based on other cryptocurrencies, ZEC ETFs posted the largest inflow at $98.21 million.

Other inflows included $13.19 million for SOL ETFs, $9.56 million for XRP ETFs, $3.06 million for HYPE ETFs and $2.62 million for LINK ETFs.

AVAX ETFs attracted $0.97 million, TRX ETFs added $0.49 million, and both DOGE ETFs and LTC ETFs drew $0.28 million. HBAR ETFs recorded inflows of $0.1 million.

BNB and DOT ETFs recorded no capital flows. Spot cryptocurrency ETFs in Hong Kong also reported no inflows or outflows during the period.
