CZ discovered numerous meme coins in his wallet while testing Trust Wallet. Although he attempted to burn some tokens, this action only intensified community interest. He realized that completely cleansing the address of these meme coins was unfeasible as more tokens were sent by users each time he burned them. According to him, this transparency causes many people within the community to overanalyze every transaction made from his address.
“Too many people try too hard to look for hidden meaning where there is none,” CZ remarked.

The issue with public visibility became evident through an incident involving MARSCOIN. A savvy trader closely monitored CZ’s wallet and capitalized on its activities. When 4,444 MARSCOIN were burned from CZ’s address, this trader quickly invested 16 BNB (around $9,645) in purchasing a substantial amount of tokens—84.61 million precisely.
To ensure priority as one of the first buyers, he set a high gas fee and paid nearly $10 in commission fees. He later sold half his position for 16.4 BNB, recovering his initial investment while gradually selling off the remainder as prices surged—eventually yielding a profit equivalent to $282,000 or 465 BNB.

Recognizing how actions linked with his public wallet could inadvertently serve as trading cues for others prompted CZ’s decision not only to transfer Binance Coin (BNB) and other tokens intended for Giggle Academy but also cease further use of that address altogether; effectively turning it into a burn address post-transfer.
