Surge in Cryptocurrency ETF Investments Amidst Ethereum Demand

According to recent data from SoSoValue, Bitcoin and Ethereum-based exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded a combined capital influx of $137.69 million during the week spanning July 20 to July 24, 2026. This surge underscores an increasing investor interest in digital assets, specifically highlighting a strong demand for Ethereum.

Ethereum-ETF Leads with Remarkable Inflows

Ethereum-based ETFs have notably surpassed their Bitcoin counterparts in terms of attracting new investments. Over the specified period, Ethereum-ETFs secured an impressive $103.9 million compared to the $33.79 million pumped into Bitcoin-ETFs. This marks the third consecutive week of positive net inflows for both categories.
Despite experiencing some withdrawals towards the end of the week, both sets of ETFs ended on a high note. The following are details on daily flows:

  • July 22: +$68.99 million
  • July 23: -$225.18 million

Ethereum-ETF Capital Dynamics:

  • July 20: +$38.09 million
  • July 21: +$37.47 million
  • July 22: +$72.64 million
  • July 23: +$26.32 million
  • July 24:: -$70.62 million

Over three weeks, Bitcoin-ETFs attracted more than $306 million whereas Ethereum funds were close behind with nearly $294 million.

A Glance at Altcoin ETF Performance

Altcoin-focused ETFs also concluded the week positively with XRP and Solana leading in capital attraction at $8.15 million and $7.2 million respectively:

Conversely HYEP ETF faced negative flows amounting to about -8m.
