Core Scientific, a leading Bitcoin mining company, announced its impressive performance for June 2024. The firm mined a total of 430 BTC, valued at approximately $23.8 million. This significant output brings their year-to-date total to 4,506 BTC.

Operational Highlights

The company’s mining fleet, consisting of around 164,000 units, achieved an active hash rate of 19.4 EH/s. Additionally, Core Scientific is in the process of migrating installations capable of providing an additional 1 EH/s. The firm also provides hosting services, supporting 42,000 mining units for external clients, which yielded 110 BTC in June.

Significant Expansion and Efficiency

Core Scientific completed a 72 MW expansion at their Denton, TX data center, enhancing their operational capacity. The firm reported an average fleet efficiency of 23.61 J/TH, underscoring their commitment to maintaining high operational standards and efficiency.

New Strategic Partnership with CoreWave

In a notable development, Core Scientific secured a new deal with AI company CoreWave, providing 70 MW of infrastructure over 12 years. This agreement is expected to generate an additional $1.23 billion. Earlier, Core Scientific had already established a 200 MW infrastructure agreement with CoreWave, projected to bring in $3.5 billion over the same period.
