Bybit, the world’s second-largest crypto exchange by trading volume, has announced support for TradFi perpetual contracts in copy trading. The feature is now available to eligible Classic copy trading users, allowing them to follow master traders with positions tied to traditional financial assets as well as crypto pairs.
Master traders can open positions in contracts linked to assets such as Tesla, Apple and NVIDIA, according to a press release provided by the company to Incrypted. Followers can copy those positions through Classic copy trading.
All positions are settled in USDT. Bybit said the product gives users price exposure to traditional financial assets without requiring a separate brokerage account.
TradFi perpetual contracts on Bybit are available for trading 24/7, in line with the continuous trading model used for perpetual contracts. To access the feature, an eligible Bybit user must subscribe to a master trader in Classic copy trading and copy that trader’s TradFi perpetual-contract positions.
Bybit said users can manage positions in crypto and traditional assets through a single account. The company presented the feature as a way to simplify portfolio diversification beyond crypto and access to traditional assets.
TradFi perpetual trading volumes rise
The press release said crypto platforms became some of the fastest-growing venues for trading stocks, gold and other traditional assets in 2026, including through perpetual contracts.
Over the 18 months through June 2026, monthly trading volume in TradFi assets on leading crypto platforms increased 117-fold, rising from $3.32 billion in January 2025 to $387.39 billion in June 2026, according to the release.
Cumulative trading volume in TradFi perpetual contracts reached $1.32 trillion in the first five months of 2026. The total was about 12.7 times the $104.21 billion recorded for all of 2025.
“Bybit continues to expand access to various asset classes within its product ecosystem, advancing its vision of a new financial platform. The new TradFi perpetual contracts functionality is available in Classic copy trading,” the company concluded.
