Bitcoin Funds Lead Over $1.2B in Weekly Crypto ETF Outflows

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $681.1 million in outflows from Oct. 5 to Oct. 9, 2026, while spot Ethereum ETFs lost $542.07 million, according to SoSoValue data. The two segments posted combined outflows of more than $1.22 billion over five trading sessions, with Ethereum funds recording their second-largest weekly outflow total of 2026.

Bitcoin ETFs post $681.1 million in weekly outflows

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded outflows on three of the five trading days. The funds lost $89.9 million on Oct. 5, attracted $118.86 million on Oct. 6, lost $487.07 million on Oct. 7 and $244.13 million on Oct. 8, and drew $21.13 million on Oct. 9.

The largest single-day outflow came on Oct. 7. Among individual funds, Fidelity’s FBTC had the biggest weekly outflow at $380.36 million, followed by Ark & 21Shares’ ARKB at $207.21 million.

Ethereum ETFs lose $542.07 million

U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs recorded outflows in all five trading sessions, according to SoSoValue. Investors withdrew $50.76 million on Oct. 5, $201.89 million on Oct. 6, $160.77 million on Oct. 7, $72.54 million on Oct. 8 and $56.1 million on Oct. 9.

The largest daily outflow was $201.89 million on Oct. 6. BlackRock’s ETHA accounted for most of the weekly total, with $477.04 million in outflows.

NEAR funds lead inflows among other cryptocurrency ETFs

Among ETFs based on other cryptocurrencies, NEAR ETFs recorded the largest inflow during the reporting period, attracting $35.99 million. XRP ETFs drew $11.31 million, while LINK ETFs added $9.48 million.

Other inflows included $2.52 million for AVAX ETFs, $1.43 million for BNB ETFs and $0.48 million for LTC ETFs.

Several other funds posted outflows. ZEC ETFs lost $30.72 million, SOL ETFs lost $24.81 million and HYPE ETFs lost $9.43 million. TRX, DOGE, HBAR and DOT ETFs ended the week with no capital movement.

In Hong Kong, spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded outflows of 23.21 BTC. U.S. Bitcoin funds had attracted $82.9 million in the previous week.
