Fidelity Investments Leads the Charge

Fidelity Investments’ Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) attracted the majority of the inflows, securing $117.4 million. The fund’s total assets under management (AUM) now stand at $9.65 billion, making it the third-largest spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States.

Grayscale Investments Faces Outflows

In contrast, Grayscale Investments continued to experience outflows. Their spot Bitcoin ETF, GBTC, saw a loss of $28.6 million on July 5, 2024. Since its inception, the fund has cumulatively lost $18.6 billion, with its current AUM at approximately $15.5 billion.

Other Market Players

The remaining six Bitcoin-based ETFs, including those from BlackRock, Franklin Templeton, and Valkyrie Digital Assets, reported no significant inflows or outflows on this trading day.
The recent inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs underscore the growing interest and confidence in Bitcoin as a viable investment asset. As more institutional investors enter the market, we can expect increased stability and possibly even more significant inflows, further solidifying Bitcoin’s position in the financial markets.
