Bitcoin Bottom: Experts Forecast $42,000 or $53,000 Levels by End of 2026
The cryptocurrency market remains a topic of intense debate and speculation. Recently, BTC.TOP CEO Jiang Zhuoer projected that Bitcoin could hit its lowest point between $42,000 and $44,000 by late 2026. This prediction aligns with historical trends but suggests that the current bear market has yet to find its floor.
Zhuoer’s Long-term Forecast
In his analysis, Zhuoer highlights the importance of monitoring specific market indicators like mNAV (market value to net asset value) from Strategy (MSTR). He noted that while mNAV has decreased to 0.72—close to its previous low—this does not guarantee an immediate bottom for Bitcoin itself. During past cycles, similar indicators reached their lows well before Bitcoin found its ultimate bottom.
Zhuoer anticipates that based on a four-year cycle pattern, Bitcoin could reach this predicted low towards the end of 2026.
Plan B’s Bearish Outlook
Cryptocurrency analyst Plan B also provided insights into the ongoing bear market. According to him, Bitcoin is likely to dip below its realized price level of approximately $53,000. This trend has been observed in previous bearish cycles as well. The line representing Realized Price is currently aligned with the 200-week Geometric Moving Average (GMA), which has been consistent since 2023.
Plan B’s analysis suggests that such patterns are indicative of potential downturns in the crypto space.
Portnoy Questions Crypto Future
Amid this backdrop of falling prices and forecasts for further declines, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy expressed skepticism about Bitcoin’s future. He challenged crypto advocates to justify their bullish views against claims suggesting Bitcoin might fall to zero.
Portnoy’s concerns reflect broader apprehensions among investors who remain cautious about cryptocurrency volatility.
In contrast to these bearish views, other industry leaders have voiced optimism regarding Bitcoin’s potential upswing during upcoming halving events—a reminder that perspectives in the crypto world can vary significantly.
Bitcoin’s journey continues to captivate both skeptics and enthusiasts alike as it navigates through another complex cycle in an ever-evolving financial landscape.
