Dogwifhat Developer Misses Out on $1.5 Billion in Potential Crypto Profit

1 Min Read

In December 2023, Dogwifhat developer sold 350 million WIF for 511 SOL, approximately $29,000 at that time, just after the meme coin hit the market. The transaction happened two days post-trading inception in block 231221647.

The WIF overcame the value of $4 at the end of March 2024, which could have resulted in a missed profit of $1.5 billion if the developer had held onto the meme coin. At the moment, the meme coin is trading around $4.3.

Dogwifhat entered the market in early December 2023 and made significant gains in January 2024. If sold at the current rate, 350 million WIF would have fetched the holder $1.5 billion.

It was earlier reported that the Dogwifhat community had raised funds for advertising the meme coin symbol on the MSG Sphere in Las Vegas.
