Bitcoin Amsterdam will take place at the Sugar Factory venue on November 5 and 6, 2026. The conference will bring together financial institutions, regulators, developers and community members involved in bitcoin adoption, making it what organizers call Europe’s most influential annual bitcoin conference.
Banks and funds are due to join regulators shaping rules around the bitcoin industry, alongside developers and community members driving global crypto adoption.
Institutional symposium to open the event
The program will begin on November 4 with the BFC Symposium, a closed Institutional Track for participants allocating capital and building corporate bitcoin treasuries. Two days of public programming will follow on November 5 and 6.
Confirmed speakers
Speakers from the Bitcoin community and developer sector include Bitcoin Core developer Sjors Provoost; Lightning Network researcher René Pickhardt; and Bert de Groot, owner of Bitcoin Brabant B.V.
Confirmed speakers from institutions and finance include Jack Mallers, founder and CEO of Strike; David Bailey, CEO and chairman of Nakamoto Inc; Khing Oei, founder and CEO of Treasury; and Maarten van der Noordaa, transformation manager for digital assets at Rabobank.
The lineup also includes Milko Hensel, head of Tech Banking at Maerki Baumann; Denis van Beetz, director of private banking at Van Lanschot Kempen; Keith Grose, UK CEO and regional managing director for the EU and UK at Coinbase; and Willem Middelkoop, CEO and founder of Commodity Discovery Fund.
“Bitcoin does not gain adoption in a vacuum. It takes institutions willing to hold it, regulators willing to understand it, and a community that has been building it for more than ten years. Amsterdam is the place where all three sit down at the same table,” said Brandon Green, CEO of BTC Inc.
Tickets and the latest agenda are available on the event’s website.
