- Binance will end hryvnia deposits and withdrawals through Fiat Trade UAH on Sept. 28, 2026.
- The exchange will delist the USDT/UAH spot trading pair on the same day and cancel all open orders.
- Eligible hryvnia balances will be converted by Sept. 30 at a fixed rate of 46.5 UAH per USDT.
Cryptocurrency exchange Binance will discontinue Ukrainian hryvnia deposits and withdrawals through Fiat Trade UAH and delist the USDT/UAH spot pair on Sept. 28, 2026. The changes will affect Ukrainian users’ hryvnia transactions, while eligible balances remaining on the platform will be automatically converted to USDT.
Binance announced the changes as part of a further reduction in its support for hryvnia-related services.
Changes for Binance users
Once trading in the USDT/UAH pair stops, Binance will automatically cancel all open orders for the pair. The exchange recommends that users manage their hryvnia balances and open positions before the changes take effect.
Hryvnia balances eligible for automatic conversion will be exchanged for USDT by Sept. 30. Binance set the conversion rate at 1 USDT to 46.5 UAH.
Users who agree to the automatic conversion will not need to take additional steps.
Earlier changes to hryvnia services
The decision follows previous changes to Binance’s services for Ukrainian users. In December 2025, the company notified users in Ukraine of revisions to its service terms and suspended withdrawals to Visa and Mastercard bank cards starting Dec. 29.
However, card withdrawals had effectively been unavailable to Ukrainian clients since March 2023. Binance is now separately ending hryvnia deposits and withdrawals through Fiat Trade UAH and removing direct USDT-for-hryvnia spot trading.
The editorial team has contacted Binance for comment on the latest changes and is awaiting a response.
Binance representatives also discussed the company’s plans for the Ukrainian market during the Incrypted Online Conference and Incrypted Conference 2026.
