In a significant security breach affecting the crypto world, approximately $11.8 million was siphoned from the hot wallets of payment company Triple-A. This alarming incident involved several blockchain networks such as TRON, Ethereum, TON, Solana, and Bitcoin. The meticulous operation saw attackers swap and consolidate the stolen assets into Ethereum.

Coordinated Attack Across Multiple Blockchains

According to on-chain analyst Specter, suspicious outflows were initially detected in networks like TRON and Ethereum before extending to others including Bitcoin. The attackers first extracted over $9.3 million before bridging these funds to Ethereum for consolidation. As reported by Specter on Twitter, this breach represents an ongoing threat with potential further losses.

A Prolonged Breach With Immediate Withdrawals

The attack spanned more than 31 hours during which about $1.8 million more was stolen from Bitcoin and TRON networks. Despite ongoing withdrawals as soon as deposits were made into Triple-A addresses, the company has not released official details regarding how their hot wallets were compromised.
