LightLink developers have successfully closed an extended seed funding round, aiming to enhance their technology stack, develop dApps, and forge new partnerships. This initiative represents a significant leap in the Blockchain sector, introducing a gasless second-layer blockchain solution.

Introduction to LightLink’s Milestone

In a recent development, LightLink’s team announced the closure of an expanded seed funding round, raising an additional $1.7 million due to high demand from institutional investors. This infusion of capital is earmarked for the development and integration of gasless Decentralized applications (dApps) and for establishing partnerships with major projects.

How the Funding Will Be Utilized

The funds will primarily support LightLink’s initiative to develop its ecosystem further. Specifically, the resources will be allocated to critical enhancements of its technological stack. “Our mission at LightLink is to make blockchain practical and accessible. The investment allows us to continue our work on creating a Web3 ecosystem for millions of users from our corporate partners, as Well as to refine our gasless transaction technology,” stated Roy Hui, the head of the project.

Backing from the Community

The developers highlighted support from various individual investors, including notable names such as ANBESSA, Eric Cryptoman, Lady of Crypto, Satoshi Stacker, That Martini Guy, Zoran Kole, and others. Key partners mentioned in the release include B3V, Blue7, and T&B Media Global. “It’s clear to us that the next innovation stage in blockchain will involve simplifying user access to dApps and removing the price barrier for newcomers. LightLink is at the forefront of ensuring gasless transactions, and we’re excited to assist the team in creating the next generation of Defi projects,” commented Kamran Ikbal, co-founder and managing partner at MH Ventures.

Impressive Milestones and Partnerships

LightLink’s mainnet has shown impressive performance metrics, with daily transactions reaching 115,000 and the total number of transfers exceeding 18.5 million. Additionally, the project has entered into a partnership agreement with Animoca Brands, granting some of its projects access to the LightLink network. Moreover, the LightLink team has completed integration with the modular DA-network Celestia, with deployment in the mainnet in its final stages.

Future Developments

Developers have also announced the launch of the native Token LL with the LightLink Bootstrapping Pool (LBP) on the Fjord Foundry platform. The token generation event (TGE) is scheduled to run from April 21 to April 23, 2024.

This funding round and the subsequent developments mark a significant milestone for LightLink, setting the stage for the project’s ambitious vision of a gasless blockchain future. With its innovative approach and strategic partnerships, LightLink is poised to make a considerable impact on the blockchain ecosystem, offering users a more accessible and cost-effective way to engage with dApps and DeFi projects.
