Bitcoin ETF Gains $12M Inflows, Ethereum ETF Sees Outflows

Bitcoin ETF Inflows Continue to Climb

On March 19, 2025, Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the U.S. recorded a substantial capital inflow totaling $11.80 million. This trend has been consistent for four consecutive trading days, indicating strong investor interest and confidence in these financial products. According to data from SoSoValue, from March 14 to March 19 alone, more than $527 million flowed into Bitcoin-based funds.
Three specific products stood out during this period: BITB attracted $12.09 million, GBTC brought in $5.41 million, and ARKB received $4.54 million. However, BTCO faced an outflow of $10.24 million as other ETFs remained stable with no significant capital movement.

Ethereum ETF Outflows Reflect Diverging Trends

Contrasting with the positive momentum seen in Bitcoin ETFs, Ethereum exchange-traded funds encountered an outflow of $11.75 million on the same day. The funds ETHA lost $12.94 million, ETH saw an outflow of $7.65 million, and FETH decreased by $2.03 million.
Interestingly though, some Ethereum-related products did receive capital: ETHE saw an influx of approximately $10.16 million while CETH gained around $711,860.

Global Perspective: Hong Kong Market Activity

Looking at the global stage, Hong Kong’s market showed minimal activity with a nearly 10 BTC inflow into Bitcoin ETFs but noted no significant movement within Ethereum ETFs.
The previous day on March 18 highlighted similar trends — U.S.-based spot Bitcoin ETFs enjoyed a remarkable capital influx worth about $209.12 million whereas Ethereum funds took a hit with withdrawals amounting to approximately $52.82 million.
These contrasting movements between Bitcoin and Ethereum indicate varying investor sentiments and strategic shifts within cryptocurrency markets worldwide.
