Trustee Plus Removes Fees for USDT to USDC Exchanges

The team at Trustee Plus has made a significant advancement by removing all fees for exchanging stablecoins, specifically USDT to USDC. This development is poised to make crypto transactions more accessible and cost-effective for users, ensuring they can convert their assets without incurring additional expenses.

USDC Transfers Now Supported on Solana

In a significant update, Trustee Plus has also integrated support for USDC transfers using the Solana blockchain. This allows users to benefit from Solana’s high-speed, low-cost transaction environment. According to the Trustee Plus team, this feature enables external USDC transfers with minimal and predictable fees, making it more efficient and economical.

Benefits of Using Solana for USDC Transfers

Vadim Grusha, CEO of Trustee Plus, emphasized the advantages of this update: “A few months ago, we eliminated fees for stablecoin exchanges on Trustee Plus. Today, we add the beneficial feature of USDC withdrawals on the Solana blockchain. Any amount of USDT can be exchanged to USDC without fees and transferred to an external wallet for just 1 USDC.”
This stands in stark contrast to the high transaction fees on the Ethereum network, which, at the time of writing, were around $6.75 and could climb much higher depending on network congestion.

Ensuring Affordable and Predictable Fees

The collaboration with the Solana team has enabled Trustee Plus to offer a flat fee of only 1 USDC for any external transfer, regardless of transaction volume or network load. This development addresses a significant pain point for users who face unpredictable and often exorbitant fees on other networks.

Encouraging Crypto Adoption

Dan Albert, Executive Director of the Solana Foundation, highlighted the broader implications: “Many blockchain representatives emphasize the need for widespread cryptocurrency adoption. The most direct path to mass adoption is through cost-effectiveness, speed, and reliability. Today, with Trustee Plus, we are taking another step towards reaching a billion cryptocurrency users.”

Impact on the Ukrainian Crypto Market

Mark Letsiuk, co-founder of Kumeka Team, expressed appreciation for Trustee Plus’s efforts to promote cryptocurrency in Ukraine. He noted that there are currently at least 100,000 Solana network users in Ukraine. Through collaboration with Trustee Plus, the community aims to double this number, bolstering the local crypto ecosystem.
Trustee Plus has once again demonstrated its commitment to enhancing user experience and promoting the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies. By eliminating fees for USDT to USDC exchanges and enabling cost-effective USDC transfers on Solana, they are setting a new standard in the crypto wallet market.
