- House of Doge, the commercial arm of the Dogecoin Foundation, said on Oct. 21, 2026, that it had signed definitive agreements to establish Dogecoin Labs, consolidating development teams and product projects across the DOGE ecosystem.
- House of Doge will transfer part of its product, engineering and commercial operations and related assets in exchange for a strategic stake in the new company, freeing resources for alternative-investment tokenization and sports partnerships.
- Dogecoin Labs will bring the MyDoge, DogeOS and other project teams under one leadership to develop DOGE-based products, payments, commerce and infrastructure.
House of Doge said the new operating model is intended to lower operating costs and reduce the capital needed to support product development directly. Its stake in Dogecoin Labs will allow it to participate in the results produced by the combined team.
Dogecoin Labs to combine MyDoge, DogeOS and other projects
Dogecoin Labs will centralize the development of DOGE-based products, infrastructure and businesses. The company will include the MyDoge team, which operates a Dogecoin super-app, and DogeOS, an EVM-compatible application layer designed to add smart-contract capabilities to the network and support a higher volume of transactions.
DogeOS and MyDoge founders Jordan Jefferson and Alex Lewis will lead the company alongside Dogecoin Foundation director Tim Stebbing. Stebbing will step down from the House of Doge board of directors to join Dogecoin Labs.
The team expects that placing consumer products, development and infrastructure under one organization will reduce duplicated work and accelerate the rollout of products for wallets, merchants and developers.
“Dogecoin already has the brand, the liquidity and one of the largest communities in crypto. Dogecoin Labs brings together MyDoge, Such App, DogeOS and the teams building across consumer products, payments, commerce and application infrastructure. For the first time, those pieces sit under one roof with one mandate: build an economy around DOGE that matches the scale of the asset and its community,” Dogecoin Labs CEO Jordan Jefferson said.
House of Doge shifts resources to tokenization
House of Doge and the Dogecoin Foundation replaced their previous exclusive commercial agreement with a new long-term license. The license preserves House of Doge’s right to continue working with 21Shares on the Dogecoin ETF under the TDOG ticker, the Dogecoin 2x leveraged ETF under the TXXD ticker and a Dogecoin exchange-traded product listed on Switzerland’s SIX exchange.
The license also permits the development of new tokenized products based on alternative investments. House of Doge plans to redirect resources released by the transfer of operations toward that work and the expansion of sports partnerships.
The Dogecoin Foundation separately signed an agreement making Dogecoin Labs its official commercial partner. House of Doge will participate in the results of that collaboration through its stake in Dogecoin Labs.
“This partnership strengthens House of Doge’s ability to execute our core growth strategy: tokenizing alternative investment products and unlocking value from our strategic investments in sports,” House of Doge CEO Marco Margiotta said.
In 2025, House of Doge reported creating a Dogecoin reserve through an initial purchase of 10 million DOGE. It later partnered with 21Shares to launch a Dogecoin-based ETP. The new agreements change House of Doge’s operating model while retaining its involvement in the commercial development of the Dogecoin ecosystem.
