The organizers of TOKEN2049 have announced TOKEN2049 New York, the conference’s first US edition, scheduled for June 16–17, 2027. The event will make New York its third permanent hub alongside Singapore and Dubai, extending the conference’s footprint into North America.
Organizers expect about 15,000 attendees from around the world, according to a press release shared with Incrypted. TOKEN2049 is described as one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency conferences.
New York joins TOKEN2049’s annual calendar
The organizers announced the US conference during TOKEN2049 Singapore on October 7, ahead of Eric Trump’s scheduled appearance on the event’s main stage.
According to the organizers, New York will become a permanent part of TOKEN2049’s annual calendar. The conference will operate across three regions: Asia, the Middle East and North America.
Alex Fiskum, TOKEN2049 co-founder, said the team had long planned to enter the US market in response to demand from attendees and partners.
“Bringing TOKEN2049 to the US has been a long time coming. Our attendees and partners have been asking us to make it happen, and we’ve been waiting for the right moment and the right setting. Everything has now come together in New York. We’re incredibly excited to bring the full TOKEN2049 experience our community knows and loves to the US,” he said.
Fiskum also confirmed that New York would remain a permanent conference location alongside Dubai and Singapore.
In addition to the two-day main conference, the organizers plan to hold TOKEN2049 Week, a citywide program of side events and activities. The program will take place across different parts of New York and bring together representatives of the international digital asset industry.
The organizers said holding the event in New York would establish the conference in one of the world’s leading financial-market hubs and create a new venue for participants in the US crypto industry to connect.
