BTC Inc, a subsidiary of Nakamoto Inc and the organizer of Bitcoin Asia, announced that the next conference will take place in Hong Kong on August 27–28, 2027. The event matters because it will be the fourth consecutive annual edition in the city, where Bitcoin Asia has been held since its launch in 2024.

Bitcoin Asia prepares for fourth Hong Kong event

Organizers linked the decision to return to Hong Kong to the city’s position as Asia’s financial hub and the development of its cryptocurrency regulations. In 2024, the region’s authorities approved the launch of spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds and passed stablecoin legislation.

“Hong Kong has become the anchor point for Bitcoin in Asia, and this will be our fourth year building on that. Every edition of Bitcoin Asia has grown the conversation here, and 2027 is us doubling down on a city that’s proven it’s serious about this industry,” BTC Inc CEO Brandon Green said.

The inaugural Bitcoin Asia conference took place in Hong Kong in May 2024 and sold out. In 2025, the event moved to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with Eric Trump among the keynote speakers.

The conference returned to the same venue on August 27–28, 2026. Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao joined the speaker lineup, while the program covered bitcoin policy, finance, infrastructure and business development.

Organizers have also opened ticket sales for Bitcoin Asia 2027 at an early-bird price.
