Bitcoin Rally: Breaking New Heights

The cryptocurrency landscape is buzzing with Bitcoin’s impressive rally as it climbed above $81,000 this week. Analysts from CryptoQuant highlighted that new Bitcoin whales secured over $1.2 billion in profits within just three days after the cryptocurrency surpassed its realized price for short-term holders. This marks a critical moment as it tests the market demand’s ability to absorb supply without causing a price drop.
Crypto experts like those at Wintermute are optimistic about the market’s trajectory, predicting that the period of low volatility has ended and suggesting potential growth fueled by genuine spot demand rather than short squeezes. The influx of funds into Bitcoin ETFs will be key to sustaining this momentum.

Nvidia’s Record-Breaking Revenue

Nvidia has announced a remarkable achievement with its second-quarter revenue reaching an unprecedented $96.2 billion—an increase of 106% compared to last year. This surge is largely driven by its data center division, which saw revenue grow by 117% year-over-year to $89 billion. This performance underscores Nvidia’s strategic positioning and growing dominance within the technology sector.

Pioneering Quantum-Resistant Transactions

MARA mined the first known quantum-resistant Bitcoin transaction through its Slipstream service using cryptographic techniques developed by StarkWare researcher Avihu Levy. The experiment did not make Bitcoin itself quantum-safe and did not require a change to Bitcoin consensus rules.
Because the transaction used a non-standard format, ordinary nodes would not relay it through Bitcoin’s public mempool; MARA’s Slipstream service provided a direct path to the miner. A soft fork remains the preferred long-term network-wide approach to quantum resistance.
